In this case you can lock apps with either a passcode or a pattern drawn on the screen, and there's also the option to block access to the Recent Apps screen too. With all that in mind, Norton App Lock is the tool we'd recommend, from a name that you can trust. We've tried quite a few of the app lockers on Android, and while we didn't come across any dangerous or suspicious activity, we did come across apps that had a variety of rough edges to them, a lot of advertising, and a lot of extra features that you don't necessarily want to add on top of the core functionality. ![]()
